Harmony I
Inspired by the painting "The Nymphaeum" c.1878 by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, this piece was created for entry into an exhibition hosted at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA by the Society of Woman Artists. The sculpture needed to be something completely unique, but inspired by some aspect of one of 13 paintings: "the composition, color, animals, a gesture… or give these old masterpieces a contemporary make-over."
Material: Bronze
